Abby Morphett, Paralegal
Abby Morphett is the newest member of the Snedden Hall & Gallop team. She has
10 years administrative experience and is a previous member of Legal Aid ACT. Whilst
there Abby obtained experience in family law and in drafting and preparing legal
documents. Abby has also previously worked as a volunteer with the North Australian
Aboriginal Justice Agency in Darwin.
Abby is currently studying a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Psychology at the
University of Canberra. Abby has a particular interest in aspects in corporate and
commercial law particularly taxation law.
Abby is a valued member of our Wills and Estate Planning team and Estate Litigation
team, where she assists with client meetings, drafting wills, testamentary trusts,
enduring powers of attorney, probate and other court applications. Abby is also
a part of the Superannuation Litigation team, where she provides legal information
to clients in regards to lost superannuation entitlements. These claims involve
government employees who were advised that they were ineligible to join the Commonwealth
superannuation scheme.
Abby is an active member of the firm’s Social Committee and regularly donates to
the Australian Red Cross and Beyond Blue.
In her spare time, Abby enjoys the outdoors especially horse riding, camping, fishing
and 4WDing. Abby is also a talented performer who enjoys playing the guitar and
singing.
