Bill Andrews
Director
Bill is a leading litigation solicitor in the ACT and surrounding region, with over
35 years experience representing clients in all courts and tribunals.
Bill joined Snedden Hall & Gallop in 1976 and currently coordinates the firm’s Dispute
Resolution division. He specialises in compensation claims, business support litigation
and workplace relations.
Bill’s successful personal injury practice draws on his expertise in all areas of
compensation law, including motor accident, workers compensation, medical negligence
and public liability claims.
Bill has represented clients in cases that established new laws in areas such as
negligence, family law and aircraft accidents, including a number of successful
High Court appeals. He has also resolved several claims against stockbrokers on
behalf of retirees who lost superannuation as a result of negligent investment practices.
Bill holds a Bachelor of Economics and a Bachelor of Laws with Honours from the
Australian National University. He has previously served as ACT Director of the
Australian Lawyers Alliance.
Bill is actively involved in many community and multicultural activities, especially
Rotary International, and is noted for his practical and friendly approach to client
service.
