Emily Shoemark
Solicitor
Emily joined Snedden Hall & Gallop in 2008 and was admitted as a lawyer in 2009.
She graduated from the University of Canberra in 2007 with a Bachelor of Business
Administration and a Bachelor of Laws.
Emily works principally in the Superannuation Litigation team. She manages claims
against the Commonwealth on behalf of clients who were falsely advised that they
were ineligible to join the Commonwealth Superannuation Scheme.
Emily is also a member of the Business Services division, where she assists clients
with commercial transactions in addition to intellectual property and employment
law matters. She is passionate about helping small businesses protect themselves
against potential legal risks.
Emily is a member of the ACT Law Society and the Australian Lawyers Alliance. She
is also a subject mentor at the Australian National University’s Legal Workshop,
providing guidance and feedback for recent law graduates planning to enter legal
practice.
Emily enjoys dancing and socialising with friends in her spare time. She exercises
regularly and is currently training for her first half marathon.
