Richard Faulks
Managing Director
Richard has over 28 years experience in legal practice. He has been a partner with
Snedden Hall & Gallop for more than two decades and is currently the firm’s Managing
Director.
Richard is widely regarded as one of Canberra’s most distinguished compensation
lawyers. His skills and expertise cover all fields of personal injury law, including
motor vehicle and industrial accidents, workers’ compensation and Comcare matters,
as well as medical negligence claims.
Richard also leads the firm’s Superannuation Litigation team, where he manages claims
against the Commonwealth on behalf of clients who were wrongly advised of their
entitlements to superannuation.
Richard is a member and former National President of the Australian Lawyers Alliance,
an organisation that lobbies for improved laws in relation to compensation and individual
rights. He is also Chair of the ACT Law Society’s Civil Litigation Committee.
In his spare time, Richard is an active member of his local athletics club and has
participated in eight marathons. He supports many community organisations, particularly
those focussed on cancer research and supporting people with a disability.
