Dennis is regarded as one of Canberra’s most experienced and knowledgeable commercial lawyers, having established an enviable business client base over 38 years of legal practice. This includes representational roles on behalf of some 20 foreign governments in Australia. He is also sought after for his expertise by businesses in the agriculture and information technology sectors, as well as by national associations.

As a specialist franchise adviser, Dennis works closely with both franchisors and franchisees involved in a number of well-known retail, food and beverage, and service businesses.

He is legal counsel to several high profile commercial clients who have a local and interstate presence in the hospitality, construction and property development sectors.

Dennis applies his experience and lateral thinking to matters involving legislative compliance issues for commercial leasing, insolvency, business structures, joint ventures, corporations, tax and contract disputes.
