Richard has over 25 years’ practice experience in the legal profession and 20 years as a partner with Snedden Hall & Gallop. He is currently the firm’s Managing Director.

Richard is regarded as one of the leading personal injury/compensation lawyers in the ACT region. His skills and expertise cover all areas of personal injury compensation, particularly motor vehicle and industrial accident claims, workers’ compensation, including Comcare claims, and medical negligence claims.

Richard also co-ordinates the firm’s superannuation litigation practice through which claims are being made for clients who were wrongly advised of their entitlements to superannuation benefits.

Richard is a member of the ACT Branch of the Australian Lawyers Alliance, an organisation that is, amongst other things, involved in lobbying government concerning policy and legislation in the areas of compensation and individual rights.

Richard is the Chair of the Law Society’s Civil Litigation Committee and a member of the Courts’ Rules Committee.

In his spare time, Richard is an active member of his local athletics club, and he strongly supports community organisations, which include those involved in cancer research and those that support people with a disability.
